Airport description
Henri Coanda International Airport (Bucharest-Otopeni) is the largest airport in Romania, located 16.5 km northwest of Bucharest, in the suburb of Otopeni. It is one of two airports serving the capital of Romania, along with Beniasa Airport. It is named after the Romanian aviation pioneer Henri Coanda, who built the Coanda-1910 aircraft and discovered the Coanda effect.
