Airport description
Wuhan-Tianhe International Airport is an airport serving Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China. It was opened on April 15, 1995, replacing the old airports of Hankou-Wangjiadun and Nanhu as the main airport of Wuhan. The airport is located in the suburban Huangpu district of Wuhan, at a distance of 26 kilometers north of the city center. It is the busiest airport in the central part of China, as it is geographically located in the center of the network of routes of Chinese airlines.
