Airport description
King Khalid International Airport is a large airport located 35 km north of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is named after King Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who ruled the country in 1975-1982. The airport began operating in 1983 and was at that time the largest in terms of area (225 km2).
