Airport description
Koh Samui International Airport is a privately owned civilian airport on Koh Samui in Thailand. The airport is located about 2 km north of the main village of Chaweng. Koh Samui Airport is an unusual airport because it has no interior facilities, except for a souvenir shop. Despite this, it is the sixth busiest airport in the country and handles more than a million passengers per year.
